Trade Post Solar hosts Red Rope Training for Local Fire Departments

On May 19, Invenergy and Cupertino Electric hosted local first responders from five organizations for a Red Rope Training around the Trade Post Solar Energy Center, which is nearing commercial operations. A Red Rope training focuses on safety procedures around electrical sites, such as a solar power facility. As part of the training, first responders visited the project substation and one of the power blocks, ensuring they were familiar with the technology on site.  

Additional trainings will be hosted once the project reaches commercial operations, ensuring first responders are prepared in the unlikely event of an incident on site.
